A radio frequency (RF) detector is a device used to detect the presence of RF waves in physical transmission mediums. The AARTOS™ system uses these RF Detectors to detect drones and drone pilots. AARTOS also uses AI to identify the type of threat by comparing different frequency patterns. The system can easily distinguish drones from common RF signals by using learned patterns, and can identify almost all types of threats as well as the location of the drone pilot.
While the radar can only achieve a conical range of approx. 3 km, the RF Detector achieves a dome range of up to 14 km. An advantage of this method of detection.
The system is scalable and can be adapted to the requirements and the budget.

IsoLOG® 3D DF Tracking Antenna
Our patented 3D RF Tracking Antenna IsoLOG® 3D DF is the first and only DF antenna also offering the elevation and altitude of any RF source.
This makes it the perfect choice for tracking flying transmitters e.g. drones or airplanes. In addition the IsoLOG® 3D DF offers the by far fastest tracking speed on the market of down to 8µs per sector. This offers a unique real time monitoring/tracking feature for ALL RF transmitters (all directions/altitude and frequencies at the same time).
2.4GHz / 5.8GHz Long Range Antennas
The portable and stationary long range antennas extend the detection range of drones using the 2.4GHz and/or 5.8GHz band dramatically to up to 40 km (FCC) in adequate line-of-sight conditions.
With the use of high-gain directional antennas mounted either on a portable and extendable tripod or on a mast or tower the operator is able to reliably detect drones and drone swarms and their operator(s) at exceptionally high distances.
2.4GHz / 5.8GHz Omnidirectional Antennas
With up to 5 km range the omnidirectional antennas can reliably detect and decode drones and their operators in a compact and portable form factor.
